This is the winemaker speaking.People always ask me why we add sugar to store bought grapejuice.The answer is because it is does not contain enough sugar to produce a wine of at least 12 percent alcolhol.

4 wks later and I bottled. I served this wine tonight to friends eating mussels in onions wine and chorizos and baked ricotta without a though on the flavor. Very good.

@localbroadcast I know all of that,I can make a nice one from cpvc pipe,Im not being a bum,it was just an sugestion,lighten up and maybe have a glass of wine.

@pidner or use a tube coming out of the top of the fermenting jug with the end of the tube going inside a cup of water. Real water seals, or air locks, are only a couple dollars and you'll find them at the same place you buy the yeast. dont be a bum!
